Hi,
we are having a callmanager set up in which we have configured hunting on the reception phone. Now if a call comes from PSTN and the operator doesn't answer that call it will be hunted to another number, like that we have 5 extensions in the hunt list. Now even if the call has been hunted and answered by any one in the hunt list, the operator phone still shows missed call alert, which is making confusion and the person is called back several time by the operators. Is there a way that we can remove the missed call alert from the ip phone if the call has already been hunted.

AFAIK, this is unavoidable as the call has been offered to the phone but it has not been answered before being offered to another member, the same is applicable to broadcast hunting also.
The missed calls directory in CUCM 5.x and later has a more button which should provide you with additional information about the missed call.
Additionally since CUCM 6.1.3 there is a feature which enables you to disable Missed Call logging in the missed calls directory on a give line appearance. How this applies to huntgroup DNs I couldn't say, but works for shared lines.
Here is some info:-
Missed Calls
The missed calls feature allows the phone administrator to specify whether missed calls will be logged in the missed calls directory for a given line appearance. The following information applies to the missed calls feature:
â¢The line can be a directory number or shared line. The default behavior is to log all missed calls on all lines.
â¢Missed call logging operates on a line basis. The line can be a directory number or a shared line.
â¢If the phone administrator configures a line appearance (share or non-shared), so that missed calls are not logged, then calls to that line are never logged in the missed call log directory, even if the calls were eventually forwarded due to no answer.
â¢If more than one line key gets configured on a phone, logging missed calls is dependent on the missed call log setting for each line.
â¢Missed call logging is controlled by an on/off configuration parameter that is sent to the phone in the configuration file.
â¢The Missed Calls Log configuration does not affect any existing or previous call log items.
â¢Calls on lines that are not logged do not affect the New Missed Call status message.
â¢If the phone administrator turns off the missed calls feature on the configured line appearance, the missed calls are not listed in the missed call history on that line appearance.
The following information applies to all calls:
â¢All calls received on a phone appear in the Received Calls log, regardless of the line on which they were received.
â¢All calls made from a phone appear in the Placed Calls log, regardless of whether they were placed from a shared or primary line.
The missed calls feature is supported on the following SCCP and SIP phones:
â¢Cisco Unified IP Phone 7906G
â¢Cisco Unified IP Phone 7911G
â¢Cisco Unified IP Phone 7931G
â¢Cisco Unified IP Phone 7941G-GE
â¢Cisco Unified IP Phone 7941G
â¢Cisco Unified IP Phone 7942G
â¢Cisco Unified IP Phone 7945G
â¢Cisco Unified IP Phone 7961G-GE
â¢Cisco Unified IP Phone 7961G
â¢Cisco Unified IP Phone 7962G
â¢Cisco Unified IP Phone 7965G
