  Hi All,

I am testing MVA. When i dial to an internal extension using MVA, the called phone shows only the calling number, it does not show the calling name.

Is this normal behavior..?? Thanks

AJ

Hi

What is the version of the CUCM you are using. If you are using CUCM 6.x it wil lnot display the Calling name and it will display only Calling number.

Hi Ronak,

I am using Cucm version : 7.0.1.11000-2. Does this version support calling name in MVA.

Thanks

Dear friend

what type of protocol which you use MGCP or H323? .

Thank you

Hi Kamal,

Call comes in to a h323 gateway via  a PRI and it hits the vxml ivr script on the gateway using a dial peer.

Thanks

AJ

Dear

Is this problem for any incoming call or for only MVA?. If answer yes , i think you have to go back to check with your teleco enable callre ID . Kindly use the below configuration

outer#config t

router(config)#

!– System based configuration
router(conf-serv-h323)#h323
router(conf-serv-h323)#h225 display-ie ccm-compatible

!– H323 Class based configuration
router(config)#voice class h323 1
router(config-class)#h225 timeout ntf 100
router(config-class)#h225 display-ie ccm-compatible
router(config-class)#

!– Interface Configuration
router(config-class)#int s0/2/0:23
router(config-if)#isdn supp-service name calling

thank you

Hi Kamal,

I am not sure how changing the config in the PRI would help, as i am calling into the MVA number then authenticate. I place an internal call to another extn, at this point the called phone shows the calling number(the internal extn associated with remote destination profile), however the calling name is not displayed. This issue seems to be internal to the cucm.

Any ideas

AJ
