MoH Multicast

Hello,

If CCM is configured with MoH multicast with a multicast ip address but the network does not configured for any multicast routing ( PIM and IGMP ). In this case how does MoH work ? first of all Will MoH work ? if it would work, then the stream flows as unicast or broadcast ?

obviously it wont work....

If network is not ready for multicast use server as moh unicast, cucm is not network aware, will just stream multicast packets.

One more clarification, If i place the CCM and all the phone in one network i dont need to configure any L3 multicast routing (eg PIM )and if i do not configure any IGMP snooping in the switches how will be the rtp streaming. Will the switch forward the MoH stream out of all switch port ?

Multicast for switches will be treated like broadcast.
