Monitoring Voice Quality over a VPN

My company has several remote users who connect back to the corporate office via a vpn. They use Cisco IP Communicator for voice. Very frequently we get poor voice quality. Is there any built in quality measurments on either the gateways or the Call Mangers? If not, does anyone have a suggestion for what to buy?

I haven't work with IP Communicator, so don't know what it shows or logs as far as call data.

In CallManager, you can pull up the CDR record along with the CDR Diagnostic record and see stats for drops, latency, and jitter.

Does your VPN Gateway have a QoS policy? If so you could take a look at that as well.
