Hello All,
I'm planning to upgrade a cluster from CallManager ver. 8.0 to CM version 9.1(2) and implement Cisco presence with Jabber and IM&P.
The problem is that: currently all the End Users on the CM are local. No AD integration is in place. Unfortunately each username was also configured as the DN of the user.
I want to integrate the CM ver. 9 with Active Directory and sync my users with AD domain users.
Unfortunately AD users are populated in the format: name.surname.
How can I do to replace my old username with the new one and associate: enduser=1234 to enduser=name.surname i.e 1234=name.surname.
Any easy way?
thanks
Lorenz

At least from CUCM side there's no way to do such thing, you need to match whatever you're using as username from what you currently have in CUCM vs LDAP.
There's no method in CUCM to map a value to another one.
Not sure if there's any method to do something like that in LDAP, if not, you'll have to choose which side you'll change, or keep them as local users in 9.x

Hi Java,
thanks for your reply.
Maybe I can sync with AD while keeping local users active.
Then migrate one user at a time at a second time... I don't think there is a faster way.
Any other faster idea is appreciated. No way with BAT?
thanks
