Hello...looking for assistance on what would cause multiple phones at a site to loose their extension. Most of the phones are Cisco 7942 or 7962 model / SCCP protocol. The phones did not loose their registration, using CUCM 10.5.2. Any suggestion on what i should be checking for?

Check the below logs for that duration:
1) Check Audit Logs
From RTMT Trace & Log Central > Audit Logs
2) Check CUCM system history to check for any DRS restore/switch version etc
file view install system-history.log
3) Check Health of servers - database replication etc.
4) Check Syslog viewer from RTMT
And browse through the System logs and Application logs for the server the phones are registered to or all servers if its not a very big cluster
The above should definitely give you some insight into what happened during that time.
