Hello,
Please help ...
Our counterparts purchased roughly 100 Cisco CP-8845-K9++= phones, while working with our service provider to activate these devices it was discovered they have a built-in wireless capability. Thereafter, our service provider notified us that these devices in their current state could not be added to the network. Moreover, they requested that we reach out to Cisco, try to possibly speak with a phone technician to further discuss whether the wireless card (feature) could be removed from the devices and if so, could they provide the step-by-step instructions.
So we were told by cisco "We do have non-radio versions for Cisco phones where we remove all RF components in the manufacturing process. Unfortunately, there is no way to disable or physically remove existing radios on units already deployed to the field"
Would like your assist to looking into alternative options since disabling or physically removing existing radios is not a viable option
Thank You
W.W.

CP-8845 does not have WiFi but it does have BLE.
This can be disabled from CUCM so users will not be able to enable the BLE radios.

Administratively disabled but not physically removed/absent. You would have to purchase the No Radio SKU for that; however, the 8845 went end of sale nearly a year ago. The 8875 is the replacement which has a no radio SKU: CP-8875NR-K9=.
