need to convert vg224 SCCP to MGCP remotely

Can you someone provide some guidance on the above- converting a SCCP VG224 to MGCP - do I just stop SCCP, can you share the commends and steps

Yes just do no sccp, and then configure it just like any other MGCP gateway on CUCM. Remove other sccp configuration like the sccp group as well.

When you do ccm-manager config and provide the config server, the vg224 will download the configuration from CUCM and configure the voice ports for mgcp. service mgcpapp will be added to the dial-peer configuration automatically.
