Not getting Fax tone

Hi All,

When I am dialing fax number, it is ringing but after 3 rings I get fast busy signal instead of fax tone.

Please help to sortout this.

Check why the receiving device nit answering the call !!

Thanks for the reply. The thing is that call is connecting, it rings but after 3 rings I get fast busy signal but there should be fax tone after 3 rings. Can you tell me the symptom .......

Are you having this issue dialing put from your device or dialing in to your device? Also what type of analog card are you using and in what router.

Can you call the fax number with a regular phone and get fax tone or is it just when calling from your fax?
