Dear all,
I configured bacd so many times before on ISRs and never failed. This is my first time configuring bacd on ISR gen 2. The script itself works, the debug shows the prompt is being played and it responses to user inputs. Unfortunately, I can't hear it. Actually, it's not only bacd, but all TCL scripts with audio prompts. I just can't hear the audio. Any help would be very appreciated.

Hi Christian.
This could mean that your VG is unable to find the welcome prompt file into the specified location or the filename.
Try to simply rename your file
drc_welcome.wav in en_welcome.wav and define the welcome-prompt param with _welcome.wav.
Please try it and let me know.

Hi Carlo,
Thank you for your prompt response. I have tried to use the default prompt (en_bacd_welcome.au) and define welcome-prompt param with _bacd_welcome.au. Unfortunately it didn't work. Do you have any idea or any debug I can use?
I tried "debug voice application script" -> it said the prompt was being played
I tried "debug voice application medi" -> it seemed that it was streaming the media

Christian

Hi Christian.
Are you able to hear other prompts, option_menu or invalid_input for example?
Where are you calling the aa pilot from? (eg. from ip phone registered on cucm or on cucme)
and last...
Is 10.230.254.21 the local ip address of vg you are configuring?
Let me know.
Regards
Carlo

Hi Carlo,
I also can't hear the other prompts, I tried invalid entries and no prompt. There's also no option menu prompt.
I called from IP phones registered to CME on this local router (10.230.254.21). This is a one router configuration.
By the way, 10.230.254.21 is the address of the router's BVI.

Christian

Hi Christian.
Can you post your config and the output of a debug voip application media?
Thanks.

Hi Christian.
Just another point.
Try to put your prompts into flash root and change your parameters.

Hi Carlo,
Thanks for your suggestion, I have tried the version 3 bacd and put the files in the flash root, but it still the same.

I'm not sure if this is the cause and what causes the loop. Have you ever heard about this?

Hi Christian.
Yes I heard something about it in th past.
Please post me the output of a show voip rtp connections and, if you can, a second output of a debug voip rtp.
Thanks

Hi Carlo,
The problem is now solved. After I tried several IOS, finally c3900-universalk9-mz.SPA.150-1.M7.bin worked. It seems that this is a IOS bug. Thank you for your help.
Regards,
Christian
