We use these phones for the callcenter agents. Everything is working fine but I can't manage the failover on cucm.
Registration is done as third party sip phone on callmanager.
When you read the polycom documentation you should work via dns for failover (not fallback).
When I change in the polycom phone the name to a failover dns record it’s also used for authentication /registration on the cucm.
When request is sip:31000081171@xxxacsub01 its working. Same as FQDN of cucm =>
When I change server name in polycom phone to sip:3100008171@sip-be.xxx-ops.net it doesn’t work.
Can’t register error in cucm => "Invalid host or domain in request URI"

Any idea on how to solve this? Workaround?
