Problems with Cisco IP Phone 7911 at the moment to answer a call

I have problems when i answer the call and place the call. The main problem is that when i pick up the phone, the call is not established automatically unless i push the "answer call" softkey. The same way when i want to make a call, the phone does not give me tone until i push the "new call" softkey.

Somebody had the same problem??

PLEASE HELP ME.

Are you using the handset?  Does it only happen on one phone?  If so it sounds like you may have a bad hookswitch, so that the phone doesn't detect the handset has been lifted when you answer the call.  Does the call end when you hang up the handset?
