PSTN<->2801<->Ascotel ISDN PBX, ISDN Data Calls

Hi,

we will deploy a Cisco 2801 Gateway, that connects via E1 PRI to PSTN and 2 BRIs QSIG to an Ascotel ISDN PBX. Now we have some ISDN S0 devices, Faxes and Modems at the old Ascotel.

Has anyone done such a scenario? I'm afraid, that ISDN data calls will not go through. I will use H323, so that TDM switching without invoking DSP should be possible.

I think I need to remove the command isdn incoming-voice voice. Anything other I should take care of?

The QsiG Connection is already working.

Many thanks and with Best Regards

Hi,

yes data calls will be switched. See:

Note, DSP will not be used during the call, but must be present for the voice-port to be enabled.
