Publisher to Subscriber

All,

Just wondering if there is a way to convert a CUCM publisher 7.1(2), to a subscriber without reloading the software entirely.  Is there any way, without reloading the server to convert this server from a pub to a subscriber.

I don't have a bootable version of CUCM 7.1(2) at my current site, so that makes it hard to reload the server.

...  Why in gods name would you want to do this?  Did you builkd a new cluster I hope that has a new publisher?

The long and short is you must install fresh!

hi Jon,

it is not possible to do so.

you will have to add a new call manager and just make it the second node, which will automatically make it the subscriber.

Yes, we have a new publisher server in a cluster that we're standing up, so my current publisher is going to be joined to the new cluster as a subscriber. 

I was wondering if it was possible without re-imaging, but it doesn't seem like that is an option.
