Hello!
This is not a technical question, but it's about the purchase of phones. At the moment we mainly use 6941 phones, but they are out of support since summer 2019. The 7800 series is recommended as successor. This series is on the market since 2013. Since the 6900 series was sold only for 5 years (2009-2014), we are not sure if it is worth to buy 7800 phones. We don't want to buy phones that maybe have End-of-sale shortly after we got them, and after 5 years (after End-of-life) have the same problem again.
Does anybody happen to know if there is information available on how long the 7800 series is going to be sold? Unfortunately I couldn't find anything in the internet.
I hope you don't find this question naive, but right now we are in a dilemma.
Thanks in advance and kind regards
David

Unless there is an EOS/EOL for a product which is publicly available, that information would not be posted anywhere and would be internal only (assuming a date has been determined).
I suggest you discuss this directly with your SE.
