Qos for voice on port for access switch

I am in the process of adding a new access layer switch for voice and Pcs and I have replicatedthe config we already have on our existing switches

Can some on tell me if if the qos config is over kill or really needed ?

In my opinion, QoS on LAN networks is totally not needed, until the contrary is proven in your specific application.

I had someone imposing QoS on a medium sized, voice enabled, LAN network that I administer. Strange things started happening including DHCP failures. Once removed, everything returned 100% stable as before, and so it remained since.
