Hi,
cisco delivered the wrong SRE710 Application. WAAS instead of CUE. So now i want to reinstall the application. I tried the following:

After that i saw in the debug and FTP the "cue-installer.SPA.sme.8.6.4" copied to the module. But thats it. after that nothing happens. I tried 8.6.4 and 8.6.6. No sucess.
ANd here is a service-module sm1/0 status

You need to stop install from IOS, and manually configure IP settings. The procedure is described in product documentation.

Please make sure that you have downloaded all the language files, and also that they are stored on the same ftp folder where the installation files are located.

Hi Jorge,
I have all files in place. I tried now three different versions.
I have the feeling i miss some important think.
It doesnt matter if i start the install from a vty or console, right?

Try installing from CUE console, not IOS. And start with 1 or 2 languages at the most.

it looks like the ftp server is not reachable after reboot of SRE module? I thing the module lost IP settings?
But why?

You need to stop install from IOS, and manually configure IP settings. The procedure is described in product documentation.

thanks. i tried this. Let me explain:
IOS:

With this configuration i can`t reach the SM1/0 module.
SRE Console:
If i boot then to "ServiceEngine boot loader" and make a "config"
ServicesEngine boot-loader> show config
IP addr: 10.224.0.240
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
TFTP server : 10.224.0.251
GW IP addr: 10.224.0.254
eth int: internal
Default Boot: disk
Bootloader Version: 2.1.28

only then i`m able to reach the SM1/0 IP. But i can`t ping any other address from here then 10.224.0.251 (which is the router with the SRE module)
I have tried to load all the CUE files on the router flash and start the installation with "boot helper" this worked and the CUE get the infromation from router flash. But then i need an ftp server for the other files..... you know.... but i`m not able to reach any other IP address....
Is there something missing ?

ok. put the SM1/0 in another subnet (created a new loopback) seems to work now.

Finally this works. But there were many trouble and i have to open a case for this.... only because cisco delivered the wrong SRE. :-(
