Good Day!!

I have one CME in one router 2901 with 7 phones CP 7821 - CP7841 work fine, but I try add one phone 7821 but not work, I copy

the voice register dn and voice register pool  but don´t work, I run debug "debug voice register errors" and connect the phone and show the next errors,

038449: Jul 28 16:15:42.453: voice_reg_get_reg_expires_timer: no voice register pool found
038450: Jul 28 16:15:42.954: VOICE_REG_POOL: Contact doesn't match any pools
038451: Jul 28 16:15:42.954: voice_reg_get_phone_index_from_contact: No contact list

I try modify the .xml archive manually but don´t work, I create profile automatically with "voice register global - create profile" but not work.

I created the voice register pool  8, voice register dn  8 for the new phone

I attach the sh run archive.

Thanks for your time!!

Hello Christian,

The only question i have for this is when you are using the load for the phone in the Voice Register Global, you typically use the individual load files which you have to manually point to your voice register global as load 9971 sip9971.9-1-2. In addition to that, your individual files should be pointed to the local flash as such

tftp-server flash:rootfs9971.9-1-2.sebn
tftp-server flash:dkern9971.100609R2-9-1-2.sebn
tftp-server flash:skern9971.022809R2-9-1-2.sebn
tftp-server flash:sboot9971.031610R1-9-1-2.sebn
tftp-server flash:kern9971.9-1-2.sebn.loads
tftp-server flash:sip9971.9-1-2.loads

Keep in mind that the above configuration is an example of the load file for a 9971. I also highlighted the load file that i used for the voice register global. Once you are done with this, create profile again, and reset the settings on your phone.

If you also have the chance, can you go to the setting and status message of the phone and let me know what you see. You can also show the status of your voice register pool and let me know if the phone gets an IP within your DHCP scope and its able to communicate to the TFTP. From there, i can point you to the right direction.
