Replacing 1k extension from 60xxx to 68xxx

Dear all

We are going to replacing 1000 registered extension from 60xxx to 68xxx
Cucm: 8.6
LDAP :Enabled

Is there any way to do that instead of manually way.

Hi Ahmed,

I have done this already, quite easy:

1.) do an export

2.) change the settings in Excel (you just need to change the line and maybe the lables and external phone mask)

3.) Import with override existing configuration

I would recommend that you do this in a lab or maybe with an limited amount of phones first.

Do export for which file ,U mean bulk admin>phones>update lines.

Hi Ahmed,

I did it like this:

- Export Phones: all details (under bulk)

- Download the CSV

- open the CSV file with excel and seperate the columns

- Change the DNs and save as CSV

- Upload the CSV

- Import phones: all details with override existing configuration

Thats it, but as I said, test it in lab first.

How I can separate it.
