Is it possible to allow a user, by default, access to all DN's except for a select few? I have some DN's that absolutely cannot be changed.

CUCM??? ALWAYS mention what you use
if so not with MLA, MLA grants access to menus and provides a security level of view only, change but is not granular to the level of which DNs you can view an account

Hi!
Not sure what's the exact CCM version you have. If it's a 4.X version you can use MLA or if it's 5.X or later you can confifure roles and user groups to restrict access to admin users.
Check these links:
** Multilevel Administration Configuration **

Have a nice day!

I have checked out that document before, but the roles are on a global scale; all DN's or none. I need helpdesk to have access to create/modify/edit all DN's, but need to have them in a RO mode for a select few DN's.

MLA doesn't go that far, i believe there is a 3rd party solution that could do this. i cannot find it right now but you can try searching NetPro as it has been posted previously
