Inbound Fax (fax machine) --> (2650 gateway) --> (cucm) --> (faxserver)
Analog fax hits the 2650 gateway which forwards to cucm as mgcp, the cucm route pattern forwards it to faxserver as h.323
Outbound Fax (faxserver) --> (cucm) --> (gateway) --> (fax machine)
Faxserver sends an h.323 fax to cucm which converts it to mgcp and sends it to the 2650 gateway and on to the analog fax machine
1. Working IOS for my 2650xm router is 12.4(25d) c2600-IPVOICEK9-M. I had intermittent send/receive success and upgrading my ios fixed the issue
