RingTones for 7912G

Hi,

My customer complains about the fact that all the phone he has, they have the same ringtone.

I already observed at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_administration_guide_chapter09186a00802e2287.html#wp1012926 how to add new ringtones, but the process is complicated..

Is anyone aware of a a place where I can download some rignotes samples ?

If not, is there any specific TOOL sugested for the ringtones needed? Any advise ?

Note: On the website it states that ringtones are valid for 7940 and up.... I am using 7911 phones... Do you known if that ringtones are also valid on that phones ? I assume they would use the same data format, but just wanted to be sure before I try it at customer?s site.

Hi Andres,

Yes the Custom Ringtones should work just fine on the 7911. I have set them up on 7912's which is pre-cursor to the 7911. The ringlist.xml is a shared list used by all phone models;
