Hi,
I am doing a multimedia networks module in my degree and we have to simulate voice and video over an IP network.
At the moment I am trying to reserve more bandwidth than is available so I am getting RSVP Admission Control errors (as expected).
My simulation software will then stop running.
My question is: Should a voice and video application continue to transmit data or not even if an RSVP error has been received. I have read the RFC and a number of papers but yet to find a definitive answer.
If anyone has any papers or journals describing this, I would be grateful.
