Hi,
Does anybody knows if CUCM and IP Phones are able to work with SCIP encryption?
SCIP (Sescure Communications Interoperatibility Protocol)
A customer is asking fot this kind of protocol due to a corporative policy.
Basicly, they want to connect telephones via satellite with our PBX (CUCM v.8.6.2). An incoming call shoul arrive at a meeting point (a Directory Number inside the CUCM). The communication needs to be secured and encrypted with this protocol. Finally, they need this meeting point (pilot DN or whatever) to transfer to another DN (another IP phone) with the same encryption. The goal is to have complete secured calls encrypted with SCIP protocol.
I suppose the answer is that CUCM can't understand SCIP, because it's a standard implemented only in a few system. In example, Asterisk is used as a framework to develop this protocol.
Here is a little tip of SCIP. It's a spanish link and inside there is an english pdf link.

Any little help is welcome!
Thanks in advance

This is the only mention of SCIP on CUCM documentation, easily found if you search Communications manager + SCIP on CCO
HTH
