Setup wholesale VoIP

Greeting,

I am trying to help a friend who needs to setup a wholesale VoIP between US and Egypt

curretnly budget only allow for Cisco2600XM and need to support E1 voice

i am not sure which module to use!

VWIC-2MFT-E1 OR

NM-HDV-1E1-30E

is the only difference the onboard DSP for the NM Vs no DSP on the 3MFT cause the 2600xm doesn't have any slot for DSPs

also, what to use for billing?

your help is greatly appericated

Hi Mohammed,

THe NM-HDV-1E1-30E would be OK for one circuit, but will require another card for a second.  You can use the CDR function for billing info

Hi

2600XM are end of life product and you will not be able to purchase it from Cisco.  I would suggest you low end ISR G2 for VOIP.
