Hello,
We want to do digest authentication from CME to CUBE in order all of CMEs must authenticate every call against CUBE and CUBE have to do the same against CUCM 7.1.
We have success in CUBE to CUCM digest authentication but we can not achieve CME to CUBE digest authentication.
Somebody could help me.
Thanks in advance.

hi, Emilio
Please check the following information about the latest CUBE funtion and see if it will satisfy your requirement,
In the peer-to-peer registration pass-through mode, the outgoing register request uses the registrar details from the local Cisco UBE configuration. Cisco UBE answers the challenges received from the registrar using the configurable authentication information. Cisco UBE can also challenge the incoming register requests and authenticate the requests before forwarding them to the network.

Hello,
First of all thanks for your helpā¦
There are some things that I can not understand in the document that you suggested me:
In one hand, document speaks about Peer-to-Peer authentication but after do not explains how to do it.
In other hand, document speaks the registration process but I would want do digest authentication between CMEs and CUBE in the same way that I doing digest authentication between CUBE and CUCM SIP trunk, in other words, authenticate de call in INVITE message.
Do you think that is it possible?
CME ----
\
CME ------> CUBE ----> CUCM
/
CME ----
<-----------------><--------------->
A leg B leg
B leg: CUBE Authenticate against CUCM
A leg: CMEe Authenticate against CUBE with different user and password
Thank you

Hi, Emilio
thanks for your update.
It seems the authentication for INVITE is not the funtion of the CUBE, it can only authenticate registration from SIP end points.
