I have what should be a simple requirement.
I have a call manager 5.1 server and I want to set up an authenticated trunk (username and password) to my isp who will then terminate all my calls.
However this is causing me no end of issues. Can any one give me a solution for this?
I also have a sip trunk (unathenticated) to my exchange server which works fine!
thanks in advance
Andy

you can configure digest authentication for SIP trunks, Cisco CallManager challenges the identity of the SIP user agent that connects to the trunk every time that the trunk sends a SIP request to Cisco CallManager.

Thanks but the problems were, a typo in the SIP realm and I was passing the extension number (not the provided numbers) to the ISP
