SNR with Hunt Group

Hi,


We currently have a huntgroup setup for all incoming calls on a PRI line that is broadcasted to LineGroup1 with 4 extensions for 15 seconds. In the event there is no answer in LineGroup1, the call moves to LineGroup2 with a single extension (299) configured with SNR.

Dialing the extension number 299 does what is expected, it rings simultaneously on the configured extension and destination. However, when the extension is dialed as a part of LineGroup2, SNR does not function as expected as the calling party number is not displayed on the users mobile device. Instead the main board number is shown on the mobile device. 

 

Is there anything amiss with the configuration as the consultant involved in configuration says it might be a ISP issue.

Start by looking at what number information you are sending to your PSTN service provider. Based from this you can take it further to modify this as needed.
