Dear All
i have a 6 cisco phones(agents) are connected to Cisco switch with CUCM 9.1 , and with ININ Call center , when
- i called one ext to ext internally , it is working fine
- when i make a outbound call , sometimes there is a delay for 7 seconds after answering the call
Note :- i am using H323 protocol in voice gateway E1
: - CUCM 9.1
:- All phones(agents for call center) are connected in the same switch.
: the switch has the latest version of image
how to solve this issue ? is it a QOS issue , if yes , how to configure it in acess switch / and voice gateway ? there is a sample for the configuration ?
thanks

Seems like you are soliciting an answer already two hours after the first post.
If time-bound response is important for you, get a Cisco support contract with the TAC, instead of relying on a freely-contributed forum.

Hi Kayyali
If you try to dial outside and the pattern is something like that 9.! or something similar then it will take quick long to match the pattern and go outside...
If this is the issue then create a specific patterns for outside
Example:
9.xxxxxxxx (8 digits called number) then it will ring faster
If the above is not your issue then pls be more specific

Hi,
Just so that its clear, the delay is after the call connects? If so, please collect the following information from the gateway:
> debug isdn q931
> debug h225 asn1 ( heavy debugs, please collect in buffer )
> debug h245 asn1 ( heavy debugs, please collect in buffer )
> Run the command "show call active voice brief" and "show voip rtp conn" again and again till we get audio.
Please share the Calling and the Called numbers. Since the issue as you described is intermittent, we might need to make some calls before you get the delay. Please share the output with us.

Jagpreet
