SRST + Cube forking + Recording Server

Hi all..

I've been into a problem for last couple weeks and I couldn't get out... so I need help and I really expect get some answer from you guys.

In my company there is a tool for recording calls, that solution is based in Built-in Bridge and the CUCM configures the IP Phones to fork their RTP flow to a Voice recorder encountered in their site. Until now it's ok. However, if the link beetween the Central site and the Branch site get down the router at branch site enter in SRST mode and assumes the function to register and keep the communication possible internally. And now, how can I configure the media forking to send the RTP stream to a recorder server?

I've been reading many of whitepapers talking about CUBE and I've tried a lot of configurations to make that possible, creating many of dial-peers, but anything hasn't work. One of the configurations I've tried you can see bellow.

!
media class 3
 recorder parameter
  media-recording 3000
!
dial-peer voice 1000 voip
 session protocol sipv2
 incoming called-number 89..$
 media-class 3
 voice-class codec 1
!
dial-peer voice 2000 voip
 destination-pattern 89..$
 session protocol sipv2
 session target ipv4:192.168.2.242*
 voice-class codec 1
!
dial-peer voice 3000 voip
description THIS IS THE FORKING DIAL-PEER
 destination-pattern 9999
 signaling forward unconditional
 session protocol sipv2
 session target ipv4:192.168.2.242*
 session transport tcp
 voice-class codec 1
 voice-class sip options-keepalive
 supplementary-service pass-through
!

*(where the voice recorder address is 192.168.2.242)

Someone can give me a idea? Is that make sense? Am I doing wrong? Thinking wrong?

Best regards.

Hello,

I have discussed with Cisco TAC/Cisco Mediasense team and unfortunately recording in SRST mode is not possible since media forking requires configurable dial peers. When the IP phones register to the gateway in SRST mode they create virtual dial peers that cannot be enabled for media forking.

I hope that answers your question.
