strange issue outgoing call with multiple ISDN BRI

Hi,

we configured an CUCM 8.5 and an H323 Gateway Cisco 2821.

At the gateway I installed 3 BRI two port cards, also I have six ISDN BRI voice ports.

I configured overlap sending at callmanager and gateway.

I configured 6 dial-peers POTS with destination-pattern 0. (Germany) for outgoing calls. Each dial-peers has one of the ISDN as port.

forward-digit is default.

I connect only one of the 6 ISDN ports to simulate that th others not working or busy.

I dial from a phone e.g. 0012345678.

I see in debug isdn q931 like the gateway search for a good isdn. If it found the working one it sends out the call, but not as

012345678, but as 12345678. So theres a wrong number goes to PSTN.

It look like the gateway takes POTS peer with best preference, strip the "0" (destination-pattern 0.) and route to ISDN-Port. Theres no connection(down), so it comes back and try the next one dial-peer, without reassemble the called number.

IOS is c2800nm-spservicesk9-mz.150-1.M3.bin.

Can somebody help?

Hi.

Please can post your actual config and the output of a debug isdn q931? I tried the same in a lab and the behaviour in my lab  is correct as the VG sends out all digits as they were dialed.

Let me know

Thanks

Carlo
