We have always purchased 370W switches in the past to power up our 7940 and 7960 phones. We are buying the 7975G, 7965G and 7945G models. If we anticipate powering 48 phones on a switch, am I correct in saying we need to start buying the 720W 2960-X series switches? 370W will only average 7.7W per port, correct?

If you are going to be deploying 7975G, you'd be better off with 720w because you can potentially power up to 48 devices (at 15.4w per port).
