SX80 speakertracker does not working fine (intermittent)

Hi guys,

Does anybody knows or had a bad experience with this feature? I have actived the speaker track but this feature is so intermittent. We have sometimes zoom in and zoom out to speaker but the camera did not following the speaker. There is no zoom out. Sometimes there is a screen lock.

Software version:ce 8.2.2 Final 3263c59 2016-09-26

Hi Daniel,

I think this normaly happen when there are a lot of people or the room is noisy, the cameras may be delayed finding the person who are speaking, and if the person speaks low is a little bit more difficult for the Speaker Track algoritm.

We have 10 SX80 and have replaced cameras and speaker track unit several times on at least 4 units.  Each time different issue ranging from no video on one camera, or one camera tracking fails, or both cameras fail to track

RMA has been our solution as it seems mostly hardware related.
