Time difference between PLM and CUCM

We have PLM enable in the CUCM publisher ,We have enabled NTP in the Publisher .Publisher time is synced properly from the NTP and Getting proper Time ,The PLM is not a standalone server

In PLM time looks different time Zone timing ,The Time is correct but the time zone is different i guess

The CUCM Time Zone Correct and shows currect time

Can anyone have any clue on this issue ?

where do u different timezone in PLM when PLM is co-resident with CUCM?

can u share the snapshot of show timezone config from Publisher and snapshot from PLM as well where u get this mismatch?

The PLM its taking UTC time as current timing

The CUCM Taking Correct timezone  Asia/Riyadh

I never noticed this change.

But if u are using standalone PLM and can change time zone using CLI set timezone.

We are not using standalone PLM .

The PLM using from CUCM publisher itself ..

I tried to look into any bug associated with this but could not find.

May be it is designed like this.

Hi Nlshad,

I checked where PLM is co-resident with CUCM .

The PLM shows UTC time zone only.PLM would work like this showing only UTC time zone.

In CUCM Pub, u would get both time zones i.e UTC and Asia /Riyadh or Asia Kolkata under utils ntp status.

This is not reproducible for me on 9.1(2), 10.0(1), and 10.5(2) with co-resident ELM/PLM.

Do I have it correct that this is last synchronization which shows up w/o timezone offset?

What is the exact CUCM version you are running?

You may check it from the CLI: show version active

I am  editing my last reply.

I checked up again and found that The PLM shows correct time zone along with time  instead of UTC after we do syncronisation on PLM .we have co-resident PLM.

we are using CUCM version 10.5.1.10000-7.

Now got really confusing ...

GUI shows UTC time in CUCM and CLI shows different
