Hi quick question for community. What is the name of the connector on the end of the TelePresence Touch 8. It look like RJ45 with tab/clips on side. Thanks in advance.

As also mentioned in the support forums where you asked the same thing (https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/13015206/touch-8-cts-ctrl-dv8-cable), there isn't really any common name for this connector. You're probably just best off referring to it as the "Touch 8 connector" as it's not really seen on anything else.

It is indeed an 8 pin shielded connector, made for Cisco by one of the major connector manufacturers. It is not something that is widely available. It is similar to RJ45, but the shape is radically different and it is more robust. It is not field replaceable.

Thank you Enrico! I'm not trying to replace, thank goodness. Just need to identify it on drawing. I did a call out with description but it just made me curious as to what Cisco calls it.
