Hi,
I have a 2811 router configured for transcoding (spservices_12.4-6T11). On the CCM6.1 the Enhanced IOS transcoder state is "rejected".
What could be the problem here?
Regards

Have you configured the CCM version under the sccp local interface?
sccp local GigabitEthernet0/0
sccp ccm 10.16.8.14 identifier 1 version 4.1
Have you reset sccp?
router(confi)#no sccp
router(confi)#sccp

In the CUCM Transcoder configuration page, make sure Transcoder Type is set to"Cisco IOS Enhanced Media Termination Point". Also make sure the "Device Name" matches the associate profile name, in this example "MTP123456789123"
Here's a configuration example
voice-card 1
dspfarm
dsp services dspfarm
!
sccp local Vlan110
sccp ccm 171.69.103.225 identifier 1
sccp
!
sccp ccm group 1
associate ccm 1 priority 1
associate profile 2 register MTP123456789123 ---> This name needs to match the "Device Name" in the Trascoder configuration page
dspfarm profile 2 transcode
codec g711ulaw
codec g711alaw
codec g729ar8
codec g729abr8
codec gsmfr
maximum sessions 1
associate application SCCP
!

Thanks,
I am using the enhanced IOS MTP and the devicename maches. If the devicename does not mach the status in the CUCM is unknown but in my case the state is "rejected"

Ruben

Hi MK,
I did not because 6.x was not available.
Now I have configured 4.1 and it works!
