Hi All,
We have a Callmanager 7 cluster, with around 50 sites and are moving towards a central SIP trunk from our telephony provider. What we need to do is ensure that calls made from site 1, which we identify using DMI groups, are sent out of the SIP trunk with a CLID of A, calls from site 2 are sent out of the SIP trunk with a CLID of B and so on.
We have got the DMI groups working fine, the numbers we want to present via the trunk are there and we can present them if we setup the gateway to manually use the relevent number, and calls can be made via our SIP gateway, but whatever we do we don't seem able to get the CLID to be presented based on the DP that we manually assign or that is assigned by our DMI groups.
We have setup some transformations that work fine on their own, but when we try and lock them to the DP's by placing them in their own partitions and calling search spaces and assigning them to the 'Calling Party Transformation CSS' of the DP that is used by the phones it seems as though they are simply removed. We have ensured the 'Use Device Pool Calling Party Transformation CSS' option is ticked on each phone too.
Also when we place the SIP trunk in the same DP as the phones and enable the ''Use Device Pool Calling Party Transformation CSS' setting on the trunk the transformation appears to work. However this isn't what we need as we need to assign an outbound CLID based on the site the phones are in and not the gateway as we will effectively have a single gateway.
Please help!
Thanks,
Richard
