Translation rules for callback in CME

Hi,

I need to translatie incoming calling party for proper callback. So I made profile for incoming dial-peer:

voice translation-profile In

translate calling 9

translate called 1

where

voice translation-rule 1

rule 1 /xxxxx05/ /150/

rule 2 /xxxxx06/ /160/

is for incoming call to internal phones translation

and

voice translation-rule 9

rule 1 /^9/ /89/

for callback.

So the problem is that the translation goes well when phone call to xxxxx05 is made and I can see it in 'debug voice translation', but when it reaches the 150 phone, it still has the original number.

Why is this happening? Should I apply this translation-profile to all ephone-dn's to work properly?

Hi,

You can apply translation rules at either dial-peer level or on ephone-dn. Where have you applied your translation profile?

The xample below shows my translation profile applied at my pots dial-peer..

voice translation-rule 1

rule 1 /\(.+\)/ /90\1/ type unknown unknown

rule 2 /\(.+\)/ /90\1/ type national national

rule 3 /\(.+\)/ /900\1/ type international international

voice translation-profile PSTN-IN

translate calling 1

 

dial-peer voice 99998 pots

translation-profile incoming PSTN-IN

incoming called-number .

direct-inward-dial
