I am using a UCCX 5.0 and CUCM 5.1. The CUCM box is using secure LDAP authentication. We have two servers listed for authentication. Yesterday the first server in the list went down. When this happened, no one could log into the desktop agent. We could log into the CUCM "ccmuser" page. If we removed the first server in the list of LDAP authentication servers, and made the second server the only one in the list, people could log into CAD again. Is this a quirk of UCCX 5.0 or CUCM 6.1? Is this just the way it is with all versions of these devices? Is there really no failover for CAD users, or is there something I'm missing in the configuration?
