UCM 10.5 upgrade to restricted

Is there still not a way to switch or upgrade UCM from unrestricted to Restricted. I want to take my UCM 9.1 up to 10.5 s2. but I need to switch it back to restricted.

No, there is no way, your option is BAT.

OK so I have a 9.1 version unrestricted, and I have a 10.x restricted version up. I guess the best way is to get both server on the same version and then start bating the phones over.

Yes that appears to be the best way around. BAT may work between different versions but you will need to play around with that, its a bit of a hassle.

If you build the systems with same versions and use BAT and then upgrade to the desired version will be a better approach.
