UCM 6.1 SIP config for Opentext Rightfax 9.4

Hello,

We are deploying a fresh install of Rightfax 9.4 with an SR140 virtual Brooktrout board that speaks to our UCM 6.1 via SIP. I have no idea how to configure the SIP connection on the UCM side. Any ideas?

Also, I have a block of 300 DIDs to use for my Rightfax server. Do I through these on the same Trunk Group as my existing phone DIDs? If so, how do I configure these fax numbers to see my Rightfax server via SIP.

Just a little confused here ;)

The SIP should be easy to set up. Give it the device pool and SIP settings for a normal gateway.

The only real thing you need to worry about are these things:

-Make sure Rightfax is sending the SIP to an IP address and not a domain name

-The remote IP address at the bottom of the trunk is the source IP of Rightfax

-The Calling Search Space assigned to the trunk has access to the right partitions to call what you want.

The routing of your DIDs is going to be done through a route pattern that points towards your SIP trunk.
