Is it possible to update the publishers IP address on a subscriber without using the web GUI and OS Administration tool?
I've changed the IP of the publisher in my lab but the subscriber still has the old details when I run a "show tech network hosts"
Because I've removed the Subscriber from the cluster (and re-booted both Pub & Sub) I cannot now get onto the Subscriber using the web GUI to change the address.
Failing all of this, can I re-build the subscriber, thus wiping the original node details from it? Is it just a case of popping the DVD in and reloading it?

Hi,
Look at this document
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/install/7_1_2/ipchange/ipchg712.html#wp41994
Changing the IP address of PUB that is defined by IP address

Unfortunately this will not work if the Subscriber cannot connect to the current Publisher.
What I need to know is how to amend the IP address of the publisher on the Subscriber through the terminal. (This may not be possible).

Hi,
I think you are only left with the option to delete the sub server from the pub
You will loose all the feature you have configure using the sub like MOH,call park etc etc
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/7_1_2/ccmcfg/b02servr.html
Then add the sub server with it new address and rebuild via the DVD
You will need to rebuild to the exact version of the pub.
