Hi,
I am installing vmware on a new ucs c210 server. I am going through the bios settings for the boot options but do not have 4 boot options as depicted in the manual. My only option is one boot option which points to a raid controller.Does anyone else have a similar setup?
Thanks in advance.

Which manual are you following??
And what do you mean by:
"I was planning on running multiple applications on this machine."
Once you install ESXi you build the VMs on top of it via the vSphere client and you can build as many as you want, as long as you stay within the supported guidelines from virtualization wiki

This guide... http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/unified_computing/ucs/c/sw/os/vmware/install/VMWARE-esxi-install.html#wp1053380
Yea I understand the VMs will be running on top of the ESXi host. I was just wondering why I didnt see the same config on my server as the UCS guide. Most of the time the guides are spot on.
