hi,
i have a CUCM v 8.6 and its users sync with Microsoft Active Directory. I am now having an issue where when someone searches the Corporate Directory and the try to dial, nothing happens.
When i go to end users and looking into the profiles, there are no telephone numbers associated with the users. i believe this is the root cause, since all the telephone Number fields are in fact populated in Active Directory.
this was working before. i have tried re-sync LDAP, reboot the CUCM, but nothing works. i also tried pinging my AD server from CUCM and it was successful, so I know my CUCM can reach my AD
not sure if this is some kinda of bug. please assist.

Are you pointing to the right LDAP field for the phone number??

Thanks Jaime. i just figured it out. you are right as well.
The Directory was Pointing to IP Phone and not Telephone Number.
