Hi All,
This is a question I was asked in a Technical interview recently...
Multisite CUCM 7.x installation, with Centralized Unity 8.x installation at HQ site,
overlapping 5 digit dial plan, 2 phones at 2 different sites configured with DN 10000,(in different
partitions)...
On Unity Voice mailboxes, the DN`s are changed to 210000 and 310000 and are unchanged
on CUCM...
How will you get Unity MWI to work correctly?
Any suggestions welcome..
Thanks in advance...
Regards,
KingofKingz.

There is a CUCM service parameter named Multiple Tenant MWI Mode. If you set it to True CUCM will process translation patterns included in the CSS applied to Unity.

Hi
as Jonathan mentioned above, first enable the Multiple Tenant service in CM
excerpt from the Unity-CallManager Integration guide(s): "When this parameter is set to True, Cisco CallManager uses any configured translation patterns to convert voice mail extensions into directory numbers when turning on or off an MWI."
then create translation patterns that vm pots and mwi CSS has access to to translate the 2XXX or 3XXX to the 1000 number but the translations must have the right CSS to access the actual line in your case DN 1000
