Hello,
Our aim is to install our Cisco CallManager Cluster (4.3) and Unity Voice-Mail Server (4.1) behind a Firewall.
Can somebody please tell me if there are other ports I need to enable to establish communication between our 7941 and 7961 Handsets and the Unity Server.
I have confirmed that the RTP UDP Ports 22800-32767 will be needed.
Will I also need to allow the DCOM range of ports to allow access to the Media Master. I know you can decrease the default DCOM range from 1024-65535 on Unity but are the DCOM ports needed between IP Handsets and Unity?
I got this information from the following link:-
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/c_unity/unity40/usg/ex/usg001.pdf
I know that Skinny will be required between CallManager and Unity but is this the case between Unity and Handsets?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Unity port settings :
TCP Port Protocol/Service
25 SMTP
53 DNS
80 HTTP
135 MS-RPC
139 NETBIOS-SESSION
389 LDAP
443 HTTP/SSL
445 MICROSOFT-DS
636 LDAP/SSL
691 SMTP/LSA
1433 MS-SQL-S
3268 LDAP
3269 LDAP/SSL
3372 MSDTC
3389 WTS
Dynamic
RPC-DCOM
With the exception of RPC-DCOM, all the protocols and services use a static port. Therefore, the only obstacle to applying a TCP/IP filter is restricting RPC-DCOM to a known port range.
