Hi. I have a question about EM after an upgrade. Do the extension mobility users get logged out during the 4.1 to 6.1 upgrade, or does DMA capture the EM status? Just wondering if I need to inform anyone to log back in on monday morning.
Are there any pro/cons to logging the users out manully vs not doing anything?

As I've seen other reports on here about problems with EM over the upgrade, I always do a forced logout of all EM users before taking the DMA copy just as a precaution.

Thanks for the info.

How do you do a forced logout systemwide?

Bulk Admin tool will force logout. Or restart the EM Service.

hi there
i think you worry about logedin or logedout users while it is not a big issue as long as all the information will be migrated
but the imortant thins you need to check is the following will not be migrated from 4 to 6
a. Custom TFTP files,
b. Custom MoH files,
c. Customer ring tones
d. Background Image
e. Phones services subscription.
f. custom Dial Plan file
g. Locale Installer file
h. CDR Record (in order to speed up migration process)
i. CTL and CAPF
j. CCM 4.X LDAP Integration
k. USers password and PIN

Hi, if you mean what will happen to the pins, they get reset.
If you need a way of migrating the pins from CCM4 to 6 then go and see www.dominocomms.com as they have a tool that can save a lot of time and support calls.
