Use a thrid party multicast flow as moh audio source

Hi,

Mu customer is already playing a multicast flow I would like to use directly as moh audio source for CUCM IP Phone.

Does anyone test this configuration (not using a SRST gateway as multicast audio source, nor using a MCS with audio Adapter)?

Can I use directly this flow as moh by configuring IP Address of Multicast flow on CUCM MOH Server Menu?

Does the MOH be played for both internal and external calls?

Phones are just instructed to listen to X multicast IP/port and really never know or care who is the one multicasting as long as it's in a codec they understand. Theoretically it should work assuming you're blocking the CUCM stream in your network and just allowing the one from your other device.

If you properly configure your MRGLs it should work for any call (again, just in theory)
