Hello,
we have wrongly bought some BE6K licenses, even if we have a "standard" CUCM (i.e., installed on a compatible third-party server).
Do they work correctly if we generate and upload them? Can we have issues?
TIA and regards.

Hi Mate - The best way around is email GLO: licensing@cisco.com and explain to them, they should be able to guide you on this or you should reach out your Cisco/Partner rep to get this sorted (which would eventually lead to GLO in some way).
I havent tried doing this and would recommend you get this sorted through proper channels

Depending on which specific license SKU you have, GLO (Global Licensing Operations, licensing@cisco.com) might be able to change them out. However, I would contact your Cisco AM and or Partner AM and ask to RMA the licenses. You can then re order the actual Communications Manager Licenses you need.
Let me know if this helps. -Dennis
