I am trying to get MWI audible indication to work and found it's an issue with the cptone I set.
Being in the UK we need UK tones so set the cptone to gb. This works fine but I dont get the stutter tone when a voicemail is waiting.
Setting cptone to US the stutter tone works but I'm now left with US style tones
Can anyone suggest a workaround to this or will I have to do without (as the VMWI does not seem to work with any of the handsets we have)?
Thanks

Hi
I'm using SIP with IOS version 12.4(22)T4
I followed the below guide and as mentioned above it works fine when the cptone is set to US but not GB
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios/voice/sip/configuration/guide/15_0/sip_15_0_book/sip_cg-mwi.pdf

Hi,
Sorry for the delay.
This looks like you are hitting bug CSCty92088
https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCty92088
It refers to the problem like yours but with STCAPP (SCCP)
but reads very similar.
I think you should try upgrading you ios to 12.4.24T8
Then retest.
Regards
Alex

Hello
That looks exactly right!
Unfortunately I don't have a service contract so can't download from the Cisco site. Where can I get this IOS update from?
